CHILD TO CHILD

· Who are they?
The “Child to Child” group is an autonomous group of 20 adolescents from Belgrade, aged 14 to 18. It was established by participants of the “Summer School on Child Rights” held in Kotor, 1997. They meet in the premises of the Child Rights Centre, Dositejeva street in Belgrade. Since the majority of their peers knows very little on their own rights, the group decided to assume the responsibility educating them and disseminating information on the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

In the last two months, two new forms were introduced on the web site: an interactive quiz on the Convention on the Rights of the Child and, for the first time in our country, the Convention in the form of a cartoon, which is accessible through the home page and directly (www.geocities.com/konvencija). It is planned to supplement this presentation with an English translation.

It represents the part of the wider program directly intended for children and youth, in the area of encouraging child participation as the integrative part of the child rights and media education.
Activities of the DX are organized and led by the members of adolescent group Child to Child, with the support of educated trainers.
DX is the place where children and youth can give and get information adapted to their interests and needs. There they can actively participate in other activities  - panel discussions, workshops, lectures, etc.

DX is one
of the activities realized as a part of a wider program called Info Media Centre. Beside that, two more activities are being realized: Media School and Editorial Desk.
